When I was a kid, one day in elementary school, our teacher asked us to bring in a bug for the next day, I don't remember why but I remember going to the stone fence in our backyard. As a kid I didn't liked bugs to much but I still manage to capture 2 tiny spider (No way I was going to attempt trapping anything bigger then a Corn Pop!) I remember being at my desk with my plastic container with the 2 spider in it and some random stuff I picked up in the yard that I thought would make the spider feel somewhat at home.
I remember being at my desk, probably doing what the teacher asked or trying to figure it out (I was a really slow kid. My elementary years where pretty close to landing on an alien planet and going to school there. Everything was so confusing and it always amazed me that the other kids always seemed to know what to do.) anyway, one of the kid in my class came up to my desk at some point and squished one of my spider. I really didn't understand the need for such a free and cruel act back then, why would someone put an end to such a tiny creature? Now I know better, kids are assholes and many of them never outgrew the assholeness.
I was able to save the second spider and set it free after class, some place where none of the little assholes could arm it. I realize, thinking about it, that that day must have been my first day as a sociopath, caring more for the animals/insects then for the human/assholes.
(My)Existence is futile!
